Supplies needed:

40 drops each of Lemon, Lavender, Cedarwood and Thieves or OnGuard (depending on brand). You can use other oils, but these are the best repellents, although eucalyptus and lemongrass are also effective.

  • 4 mason jars (you can also recycle jelly jars etc.)
  • 40 drops each – Cedarwood, Lavender, Lemon and Thieves essential oils (or use your own combination of essential oils, but these are known to help repel bugs). This is equivalent to ten drops per can of oil.
  • 2 fresh lemons
  • 2 fresh limes
  • 8 sprigs fresh rosemary
  • water
