How to DIY Scented Coffee Bean Candles

⌨️

Have you ever used up a bag of coffee beans and wondered what to do with the few remaining beans? You’ll see a lot of guides on what to do with the waste, but what about the beans? This is perfect for making scented candles out of them.

Materials you will need:

  • coffee beans
  • white candle
  • Knife
  • heater
  • A used paper juice box

C Cut the candle, remove the wick and melt the water bath. When the wax melts, remove the wick and install it as shown. The coffee beans are then added to the melted wax. Hold the steam bath for 10 minutes and you can place the coffee beans in the shape.

Let the wax cool slightly.

After the first layer has cooled, pour the molten wax into the mold. Let the wax cool again. Remove the candle mold when the wax dries. Candle wax takes about 12 hours to dry completely, but may take longer at high temperatures.

Trim the wick of the candle. When the candle is out of the mold, unwrap the wick from the chopsticks. Trim the wick so that it is flush with the bottom of the candle and extends about half an inch (1 cm) from the top of the candle.
