With spring upon us and summer upon us, it’s time to think about family activities that will bring everyone together on a hot summer afternoon. There’s no better way to spend a wild night than by surrounding yourself with bubbles of all sizes and shapes. This project ends up being more magical and messy if your little ones are around, but it works for every inner child! So let go of your worries and immerse yourself in this cinematic rainbow of joy.

We started with the unique and super simple “Rainbow Bubble Snake” that took almost no time to come up with. Everything you need can be found in your home, and in just a few minutes, you can have a super cool activity to keep your kids entertained for many summer afternoons.
Here is what you need:
- an old bottle
- Clean socks (harder to find than you think!)
- Tape/rubber band
- Soap/Dishwasher
- food coloring
Cut the bottle and cover one end with a sock. Pick it up or use a rubber band to make sure it’s in place. Fill the bottle with dish soap and dip the end of the sock into it as well. Add some food coloring on top and blow away. It’s that simple!
