Wonderful DIY 3D Paper Star Snowflake

How to make a 3D paper star snowflake decoration? It can range from tiny tree trim to large window trim.
what do you need:
7 x squares of paper (the size of the squares depends on how big you want the star decoration to be, I chose 10cm squares of paper)
glue
Scissors
stapler
Ribbon/String
socket needle
direction:
1. Fold a square piece of paper in half diagonally, then in half again. Cut three straight lines on the folded paper, about 1 cm apart. as shown in picture 2. (The space between each cut and how many you need to cut will depend on the size of your star.)
2. Open this sheet of paper and cut it in half, this will be your cutting template.
3. Fold another square of paper in half diagonally and place the cutting template on top. Cut along the cutting line.
4. Open the square paper you just cut and flatten it. Take the inner triangular cut out and use glue to hold the ends together as shown.
5. Cut the next triangle and pin these ends together, but this time in the opposite direction. As shown in Figure 6.
6. Repeat this process until all ends are fastened together to create 1 star point.
7. Repeat the process with the remaining 5 sheets of paper to create 6 points for your star.
8. Take the 3 completed dots and glue the tops of these dots together to form a semi-circle. Make sure the star points are glued together facing the same direction.
9. Repeat step 8 for the remaining 3 points of the star, then pin the two halves together to secure. Your paper star is now complete!
10. To finish my work, I used a wool needle through a 3mm wide red ribbon to form a loop so I could hang my star.
