Wonderful DIY Kids Homemade Silly Putty

Homemade Silly Putty! That’s right, you can make sticky, bouncy, stretchy, and shapeable things at home without having to go to the nearest store and buy a pack. All bragging rights aside, this allows you to choose a color for your kid’s favorite silly putty, and you can even dazzle your kid with a color that combines shades of the rainbow.
It’s not hard to make your own silly putty, it takes very little time, and the recipe doesn’t require anything you won’t find at the nearest supply store. So, let’s get started, shall we?
what do you need:
- One bottle of Elmers glue (118ml)
- 118ml water
- 1/2 teaspoon borax
- 1/4 cup hot water
- food coloring of your choice
Mix them together as shown in the tutorial paging fun mom (link below image), you can create as many batches of homemade colored silly putty as you want. You’ll soon see your child spend countless hours trying to shape and reshape it, and the little spot will bounce back a little! Since this DIY fun contains borax, make sure your child is past the stage where everything is instant taste-tested.
