What personal data do we collect and for what purpose?
Comments
If a visitor leaves a comment on the site, we collect the data specified in the comment form, as well as the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent data to determine if it is a spam.
An animated channel created from your email address (“hash”) may be provided to Gravatar to determine if you are using it. The Gravatar privacy policy is available here: https://artkraft.fr/privacy-policy/ . Once your comment is approved, your profile image will be publicly visible in the context of your comment.
Media files
If you are a registered user and upload photos to the site, you should probably avoid uploading images with EXIF metadata as they may contain your GPS location data. Visitors can extract this information by uploading images to the site.
Cookies
If you leave a comment on our website, you can include the storage of your name, email address and website in a cookie. This is for your convenience, so that you do not have to re-fill in the data when making new comments. These cookies are kept for one year.
If you have an account on the website and you log in, we will place a temporary cookie to determine if your browser supports cookies, it does not contain any personal information and is deleted when you close your browser.
When you log into your account, we also set several cookies with your login data and screen settings. A login cookie will be stored for two days and a screen settings cookie for one year. If you choose the “Remember me” option, your login details will be kept for two weeks. The connection cookie will be deleted when you log out of your account.
When you edit or publish an article in your browser, an additional cookie is saved, it contains no personal data and only contains the registration ID of the article you edited, it expires after 1 day.
Content embedded on other websites
Articles on this site may contain embedded content (eg videos, images, articles, etc.) which content behaves as if the visitor had entered another site.
These sites may collect your data, use cookies, implement additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with embedded content, including tracking crying if you have an account and have logged into this site.
Retention period of your data
If you leave a comment, the comment itself and its metadata are saved indefinitely. This allows subsequent comments to be identified and approved automatically, instead of putting them in the approval queue.
