This coffee table glows in the dark: here’s how!

Mike Warren is a man of many talents. This guy is an inventor, maker and artist who loves to “build, share, destroy and repeat”. Part of his daily life is making trouble, but having fun while doing it.Exactly matching all of the above is one of his projects called luminous watch.

From its name, you see this table that will steal the show at night as it glows as the sun goes to sleep. Mike is made using photoluminescent (glowing) powder mixed with clear casting resin. He filled in all those pesky gaps that naturally formed in one of his old tables (especially made of cypress hardwood), and the result was a unique table with stunning effect.
Like a watch that charges in the sun and glows at night, the table will absorb as much light as possible during the day, providing a sensational performance from dusk to evening – emitting a cool blue glow in complete darkness.

notes: The “glow powder” has a brightness rating of 33000 mcd/m2, 55-85 microns, and can be recharged millions of times! It’s pretty amazing if you ask us.
