DIY Crochet Yarn Dandelion Bouquet (Free Pattern)

📱

This crochet yarn dandelion is easy to make and perfect for spring. Dandelions are beautiful, strong, and resilient, and now hook up a spring decoration for your home that looks fresh, right? The dandelion flower itself is easy to make, you can do it using the classic pom-pom technique, but I prefer it this way, by cutting it in half. If you don’t have a U crochet hook, there is a way to use a fork and green pipe cleaner instead.

Material:

  • Yarn (green and yellow)
  • crochet
  • metallic line
  • needle and thread
  • glue
  • Scissors

how:

Green and yellow (orange or white) yarns are perfect for this project.

To make the dandelion first, you must wrap the yellow yarn around the U-shaped crochet hook. Then thread the yarn across its width from the middle, apply glue and roll it.

Wrap the yarn around the center of the yarn roll and cut it into two pieces to get two pom-poms.

Then cut equal lengths of green yarn and use a needle to thread the green thread through each yarn. Repeat the same steps again, leaving some gaps.

Wrap this patch over the top of the dandelion and tie. Tie the bottom half and snip off the edges. Dip into white glue to seal.

Glue and hot glue the dandelion to a plastic stick and cover it with green yarn. Do more, complete a bunch.
