How to DIY a Drawstring T-Shirt Backpack

Here’s an easy DIY recycling project for recycling unwanted t-shirts or vests, or even fabric scraps. You will need thick rope, choose a color, and sew on the outline of the t-shirt as shown! If you have a printed T-shirt, the effect is even cuter! You can make these for your kids, take to kindergarten, or even school lunches. You can make these for a park play or a picnic, either way they look beautiful, and they’re really easy to make once you get the hang of it! Laura of CanCanDancer made this cute backpack out of an old T-shirt for even more sewing fun for beginners.
you will need:
- a T-shirt;
- Piece of cloth;
- rope;
- needle and thread;
- Scissors;
- sewing machine.
