Rugs can be expensive, but you can also handcraft your own from recycled old clothing or bedding. Every time I come across a knitting project, I’m reminded of how incredible knitting actually is. I previously shared a rectangular DIY woven rag rug out of cardboard. This Cardboard Loom Pom Pom Woven Rug will be another fun project that you and your kids can enjoy. Sara Plath was able to take a piece of cardboard, a few strands of rope, and some pompoms and turn them into a beautiful boho rug for her bathroom. The great thing about this project is that you can use this method with just about anything (old sheets, yarn, etc.) no matter your personal taste! You might even have everything you need in your home right now to add another rug to your home in no time.
