You never know what it’s going to be if you press your own hand into the fur and cut that part off. This creative and cool dad baked something very special for his baby boy – a DIY Cookie Monster Blanket! This blanket is super cute and furry for babies and for all Cookie Monster fans (me included). Cut a few knives for the body and use yarn balls for the eyes, it is very easy to make. And don’t forget to sew some big and small cookie pillows to match and play with for the kids. You might be inspired to pick other colors and make your own favorite characters, like Elmo for girls, which makes a great baby shower gift or for the kids—and it’s super easy to make, too!

Use paper cutouts as templates on the fur.

Draw the rest of the shape by folding the fur in half, then cut it out.

Wind the bundles of yarn with a tight wind and form the twist into a ball.

Added two black, plastic, glossy buttons for the pupils, connecting the eyes to the head.
