DIY How to Make Two Ingredient White Chocolate Cream

This easy-to-make 2-ingredient buttercream frosting recipe is rich and fluffy enough to add any sweet decoration to cakes, cupcakes, cookies, and more. White chocolate is a favorite of most of us, and this frosting from Cookies and Cups is definitely easier, tastier, and saves you time by keeping it in the freezer when you’re throwing a big party (don’t forget to get it again from out of the refrigerator).

raw material:

  • 1 pound butter
  • 2 cups white chocolate chips

what you do:

  1. Combine the two ingredients in a medium saucepan. Melt them over low heat, stirring constantly (note: the butter and white chocolate will separate, that’s okay!)
  2. When completely melted, remove from heat and let stand for 15 minutes. Place the pan in the refrigerator until the mixture sets (about 3 hours or overnight).
  3. When you’re ready to make the frosting, remove from the refrigerator and let it rest for 30 minutes.
  4. Place the mixture in the bowl of a stand mixer and beat until light and fluffy (about 2 to 3 minutes).
  5. Use the icing however you like and enjoy!
