Changing clothes for the fall is one of our favorite ways to kill our time off and keep some DIY schedules in place during our fall work rush. No matter how busy we are, we always like to sit down and customize something so we can get the “new” fall fashion; but in a budget-friendly way. When most people think of “change,” we find they think of smaller items like winter accessories. However, did you know that it’s easy to change bigger clothes too?

Look at these 15 Amazing Jacket Customization Ideas It’s easier than you think and will keep you stylish and Crafty all fall!

We are big fans of leather jackets for fall. They’re warm enough to keep you warm, but you’ll still survive the occasional hot fall without the meltdown you’d get when you put on a fur-lined parka directly. However, we found that we were a little tired of pure black. By adding something as simple as a pleated fringe, you can bring your jacket design to life in an easy way! See how it’s done on Dushonok.

2. Fabric block quotation

Denim jackets are another great fall option because they’re warm and light, but we often find ourselves feeling the same way we feel leather—they can be plain. However, as a DIY enthusiast, we’re sure you know that denim jackets can be jazzed up in endless ways! One of our favorite ways to give denim personality is with patches, and what better way to make a real patch statement than with crisp capital letters? See how this jacket was made using large fabric appliqué patches on fall denim.

3. Sew patch on the back of the jacket
