It’s amazing to think that this is an easy DIY project you’ll come back to again and again, but once you try it, we guarantee you’ll be hooked. It looks like only a pro can do this, but it’s actually a lot easier than you think – and the real-life results are far beyond the pictures you see here.
what do you need
- two small elastic bands for hair
- One medium elastic band
- two hairpins
- several hairpins
- a good brush
- paint to hold the braids in place

Lace Braided Rose Hairstyle Tutorial
- Make sure your hair is well combed, then use a section of your hair to the right half of your head to make a braid in the usual way. When you reach the end of the braid, use the elastic to hold it in place.
- After this, you need to turn your attention to the left half of the head to do the exact same – again securing the braid with the elastic.
- Grab the braid on the right and roll it to create a rose effect as shown in the photo above. Secure it in place with bobby pins, then do the same on the other side of the head.
- The rest of the hair can be braided and pinned in place as shown, or styled however you like.
