We often extend the dining table when we have guests, usually adding a middle board to a rectangular/oval table to enlarge the table. But if we have a square space with a round table for more service seating, like this cool construction machine masterpiece, you’ll be amazed and want to have it right away. When I saw this video of the woman just spinning the table and watching it grow bigger and bigger before my eyes, I was mesmerized. This ingenious approach allows the table to save space when not in use and expand it when extra space is needed. This expandable round dining table top swivels on a simple “lazy susan” style substructure, allowing you to swivel the table so the leaves can be easily extended or pushed back into place without having to go around any chairs or other obstacles. This also comes in handy when you want to sample someone else’s dish from across the table. Activate the locking mechanism below to prevent the table top from rotating.
