DIY Edible Cheese Salad Bowl Recipe
These edible cheese salad bowls are easy to make and delicious! They look impressive, right? Hanging cheese pancakes on a glass bottom is fun, and using a flour mixture as a substitute is a great idea.
raw material:
- 2 cups shredded Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon coarse pepper
- 2 romaine lettuce hearts, cut into bite-sized pieces (about 6 cups)
- 1 cup grape tomatoes, halved
- 3/4 cup Caesar salad croutons, slightly crushed
- 1/4 cup creamy Caesar salad dressing
direction:
- In a small bowl, toss cheese with pepper. Heat a small nonstick skillet over medium heat. Sprinkle 1/4 cup cheese mixture evenly into pan.
2. Cook, uncovered, 1-2 minutes or until bubbly and golden around the edges. Remove pot from heat; let stand 15 seconds.
3. Carefully remove cheese with spatula and cover cup immediately; press lightly to form a bowl. Cool completely.
4. Repeat with remaining cheese to make eight bowls.
5. In a large bowl, combine romaine lettuce, tomatoes, and croutons. Just before serving, drizzle with the dressing and toss to coat. Serve in a bowl.
