How to DIY Sand Filled Timeout Stool
Your little monster won’t stop screaming or causing trouble at home, and you’re tempted to give him a separate cooling-off period, otherwise known as a time-out, a classic but controversial form of discipline. Timeout seems to spark a lot of debate online, but I still use it for my kids. This is a calm and effective way for parents and school teachers to correct bad behavior. You can make your own time-out stool filled with sand, which is a really cute idea. If you’re using it as a decoration, or if you need to keep it out of children, you can use a glass hourglass from your local decor store, use a clear soda bottle and have a wooden bead in the center.
