How to Make Beautiful Mandala Flowers with Yakitori

Mandala – sacred symbol used for meditation in Buddhism, object of ritual. In principle, a mandala is a geometrical symbol of a complex structure, interpreted as a model of the universe, a “cosmic map”. These sacred symbols are embroidered on cloth, painted on sand, manipulated and colored powder to make metal, stone, wood. In Latin America, the Huichol Indian tribes were woven from mandala threads, and they were called amulets Ojo de Dios (pronounced “Ojo de Dios”) or “eyes of God”. Material:

  • eight strings,
  • colored threads (yarn, iris, wool…),
  • Scissors
  • Fixed with PVA glue.

As a base, you can use bamboo sticks, balloon plastic sticks, pencils, popsicle sticks, and even toothpicks sold at florists.
