How to Properly Clean Your Oven

If you haven’t cleaned your oven like this, you’ve been cleaning your oven the wrong way your whole life and will absolutely be shocked at how effective this Newsner method is.

Here is what you need:

• water
• Spray bottle
• baking soda
• a rag
• vitriol
• a small bowl

This is what you have to do:

1. First, remove the grill.
2. Mix a few spoonfuls of baking soda with water in a bowl. Make a paste that is easy to spread on the surface of the oven.
3. Spread the paste around the inside of the oven (the baking soda will turn brown). Let it sit overnight (at least 12 hours).
4. The next day, take a damp rag and wipe off as much of the baking soda paste as you can.
5. Put some vinegar in a spray bottle and spray it on surfaces where baking soda residue is still visible. Then wipe with a damp rag.
6. Return the rack to the oven and turn the oven to very low for 15-20 minutes to dry.

To clean the oven window:

1. Make another paste with baking soda and water.
2. Apply the paste directly to the windows and let it sit for 30 minutes.
3. Wipe down the windows with a clean rag.
