Whether you’re planning to have 50 or 150 guests, there are always a few things to worry about when bringing guests to a party. You have to send responses and invites, not to mention have to figure out where they will all be sitting.
Plus, you spend the entire day thanking your guests and only write thank you cards when you’re done.
Will Uncle Dave behave well after the elopement, or will Aunt Cindy drink too much champagne. And you certainly won’t have any pressure on your guests to have a good time on your wedding day.
Elopement relieves the situation of having to cater to anyone but you and your partner. If you still want your guests to experience a special day, there are plenty of great ways for guests to join you virtually via Zoom.
4. You don’t have to be the center of attention
Some people are afraid to speak in public. They feel anxious when the spotlight and attention is on them. All eyes will be on you on your wedding day.
Because elopement is intimate, you don’t have to think about taking an oath in front of everyone. If you mess up your lines or trip yourself up the first time you dance together, there is no expectation.

In addition to paying for your wedding, you also need to consider your honeymoon. This is your chance to celebrate and relax after the big day. With an elopement, you can combine your honeymoon and wedding in one.
