When it comes to art, we absolutely love displaying unique, one-of-a-kind pieces and decorating solutions in our home. Whether it’s the creative bug biting us or we’ve finished a brand new painting, or we just saw a cute DIY idea online that we can’t wait to recreate, we only feel when we’re surrounded by art Feel at home when we make our own or see the wall decor made by our friends. Curiously, of all the different techniques and crafts that exist, one of our favorite ways to make decorative art is to use canvas. There are so many possibilities with that blank surface!
Just in case you love canvas art as much as we do but feel like you need a little inspiration, here it is 15 great tutorials This will help you express yourself and decorate your space in creative ways that you may never have realized you can even do using a simple canvas as a starting point.
1. Peel off the tape painted canvas

Even if you like some colorful decor, there is still a way to do it, while you also prefer minimalism in the pieces you choose to display and make. We love pieces like these on Becuo that catch the eye by reminding us of the beauty of a few colors and a few angles. Besides looking great, they’re so easy to make, it’s almost a crime! Stick some tape on a blank canvas in different directions, paint over it, and carefully peel off the tape once the paint is dry. The result is a series of clean white streaks across the color, which we think looks great.
