If you haven’t figured it out by now, we’re a bit of an owl thing. But then again, who on earth can resist something as cute as these little guys, right?
The best craft projects are always those that make versatile little things.when we say these amazing Small Crochet Little Owl Versatile… well, we just said you better believe we mean it!

There are so many things you can do with these carefully crafted cuties, and you’ll likely find yourself making dozens. From keychains to sock fillers to party favors to Christmas tree decorations, you can’t go wrong with anything that needs to add some joy. We have to thank Josephine Wu for the cool project.
What’s more, adding a pin or clip can make yourself a bunch of hair accessories, or maybe a cute little decoration to add to a hat, scarf, bag, or whatever you like — even the sky. The limit for cute baby owls!

As always, we’ve come across what we think are the best and easiest patterns to follow, which can be accessed for free via the link below. It’s a great crochet craft project for those still grasping their new talents, they don’t take time to knock out at all, and are very forgiving when it comes to small mistakes… always a bonus.
In terms of required crochet stitches, this pattern focuses on the following:
- crochet a circle
- single crochet
- single subtraction
- single increase
You’ll also need some very basic supplies, as follows:
- Worsted weight yarn of any color of your choice
- Create the colored lines of the beak
- Feeling clipped eyes (white, green, yellow, etc.)
- Crochet – F/5 3.75mm
- Plastic safety eyes (two 6mm owls)
- Owl’s Stuffing (your choice)
- Yarn needle
- embroidery needle
- cloth glue
