Pinwheels are a fun classic project for any lazy summer day when it’s too hot to do anything else. Not only are these crafts easy to make, but they also add a lovely design element to your kid’s room, or decorate anywhere you want — and they’re inexpensive to start.
what do you need:
various paper
Scissors
Pushpins or pins
pencil with eraser
instruct:
1. Start with a square piece of paper.
2. Fold the square diagonally from one corner, then unfold.
3. Make a pencil mark about 1/3 from the center.
4. Cut along the crease. Stop at your pencil mark.
5. Move every other point to the center and pass a needle through all four points
6. The pin head forms the hub of the wheel.
7. Turn your pinwheel over – make sure the pin goes through the exact center.
8. Roll the pin in small circles to slightly enlarge the hole. This guarantees that your pinwheel will spin freely.
