With just a box of household straws, you can make any number of these awesome tabletop accessories. Perfect for use in the home, office, classroom, and anywhere else you need color, it’s fun and very practical to make! With a little imagination, you can be sure that every piece you make is a one-of-a-kind piece of art!

Form, function and myth!

In our opinion, nothing beats producing useful and stylish craft projects from the simplest of supplies. These pencil holders tick all the right boxes, and then some – all you need to make yourself are:

A box of straws (color)
brown cardboard tube
Craft glue or hot glue gun
pen or pencil
sharp scissors
a small piece of cardboard
ruler

Glue a small piece of cardboard to the bottom of the cardboard tube and let it dry
Form as many straws as you can into squares as shown – secure with a bit of glue
Apply a little glue to the outside of the tube and add a straw to create the twist
Let it dry and add pens, pencils or whatever you like!

Of course, there is nothing to say, you have to follow the guidelines in the letter – we personally like to make a few changes here and there and come up with unique surprises each time! A few tubes, a bunch of straws and some glue – you just need to make some incredible art!
