Wonderful DIY beautiful non-sew skirt

My daughter loves a tutu and loves dancing with it. Every little princess deserves a beautiful tutu. This classic tulle tutu is the perfect project for beginners because it’s so easy to make and requires no sewing. Perfect for a flower girl’s wedding dress, playtime, ballerina training or just for fun. Let the kids help with this project—even if they don’t have access to scissors, they can help lay out the fabric and tie it to the elastic.
You will need:
- Wider elastic band (1.5 inches);
- tulle fabric;
- Scissors.
instruct:
- Measure the waist size of a skirt
- Cut a piece of elastic a little longer than that size.
- Tie or sew the ends of the elastic together to form a circle.
- Cut the tulle strips to twice the length of the tutu you wish to finish.
- Take one strip at a time, forming an “upside-down” U shape.
- Place the “inverted” U-shaped tulle behind the waistband.
- Make sure the ends are even, then place the ends on top of the girdle and through the opening between the top of the tulle U and the girdle.
- Pull the end of the tulle taut.
- Add all your tulle until the girdle is filled.
- Slide the tulle pieces together so that they are close together and there is no distance between them.
