View in galleryThis is a beautiful rug for a girls room, my daughter and I love it. This rag rug offers a super easy way to turn all those discarded t-shirts into something fun and functional for any living space. This is definitely a great fabric scrap craft.
Hand rag rugs are really easy to make, you can use leftover fabric from their quilt plus other scraps and purchased fabrics. Just use strips (1000 strips) cut about 1″ x 5″ and tuck these strips into the non-slip rug pad. No need to even bother to tie the cloth strips. With a project like this, the personalisation possibilities are truly endless – any colour scheme would be fun.
what do you need:
old t-shirt or strips of quilted fabric
non-slip carpet mat
Scissors
