How many creative things a zipper can do. How about a cute dragonfly accessory? Many people create their own stylish looks without spending too much money. Check out the video and find the steps. have fun!
what do you need:
brooch,
sewing machine or hand sewing needle,
ruler,
A pair of scissors,
Zipper with 56″ or 28″ zipper to separate,
Non-woven waste inside the butterfly.
instruct:
1. Start by preparing the zipper. Use zip ties to cut it to form the dragonfly’s body.
2. Locate the dragonfly. Divide the zipper into sections.
3. Cut two large segments for the top of the body and two smaller segments for the bottom of the body.
4. Using the clipped part of the zipper, make the tail.
5. You should now place the dragonfly skeleton on the scrap material and mark the parts you need with a ruler and marker.
6. Take the scissors and cut the desired pieces of your dragonfly. Apply glue to the inside of the dragonfly skeleton and glue the pieces of material inside.
7. After the glue dries, you should use a sewing machine to saw the piece of material along with the zipper to make it permanent.
8. Take the brooch and saw it in place to make the dragonfly’s head.
Your DIY idea is complete, you can now rock a DIY dragonfly brooch made of zipper and stand out! enjoy!
