Wonderful DIY Fancy Wine Glass Candle Lights

These decorative shades open up a new way of entertaining decor. A cheap wine glass paired with a kraft lampshade turns into a fancy candle light. Use them as dramatic lighting for every location set on the head table. Or place one on the mirror in the center of each guest table, sprinkled with a layer of foil-wrapped candy.White, off-white or muted colors will allow the most light to pass through the shadows
what do you need:
- Different papers (napkin, corrugated, scrapbooking, kraft, etc.)
- Scissors
- glue
- Red wine glass
- Votive Candle or LED Battery Powered Tea Light
- Other decorative materials (ribbons, beads, etc.)
direction:
1. Get a copy of the lampshade pattern.
2. Draw the lampshade pattern on the kraft paper. Use regular scissors with decorative blades to cut straight ends and inner curves.
3. Punch holes about 1″ (2.5 cm) from the bottom edge of the pattern, evenly space the pattern.
4. Apply fine line glue to one straight end (a glue pen works well). Lap the other end over the glued end to create a shadow.
5. Secure the votive candle and place the shade on the wine glass.View in gallery
