These slippers are very easy to make and you can choose your favorite color to match your pajamas.
what do you need:
– Two pieces of natural wool felt, dimensions: length 12 inches, height 5 mm;
– Two large green felt buttons;
– tailor’s chalk;
– 100% cotton thread in colors 1140 (Natural) and 7880 (Kelly Green)
– Felt slippers template
direction:
1. Trace the template on one of the pieces of felt with chalk and cut out the shape.
2. Do it again for the second slipper.
3. Place the model and observe that the left slipper foot is slightly bent to the right and the right slipper foot is slightly bent to the left.
4. For the left slipper, place the left flap over the right flap, overlapping by 3 inches. Try on slippers and tighten or loosen the flaps as needed.
5. Sew the flaps to each other with a few stitches, then hold the flaps together, sew a small stitch from the inside of the top flap in the center of the overlap. Use these types of invisible stitches to stitch the overlapping threads together to secure the flaps together.
6. Place a button in the center of the flap and thread it through both flap layers using Kelly Green Thread.
7. Create the Right Slipper Do this process again, but place the right flap on the left side in the initial step.View in gallery
