Wonderful DIY messenger bag from old jeans

We previously posted ideas for reusing old jeans that are creative. Today we’re back – here’s another one you can do. This is a simple bag made out of old jeans.

Old Jeans Crossbody Bag
This bag is perfect for snacks and other essentials for an outdoor festival, or for packing a survival kit for inclement weather. It’s easy to make and because you’re recycling it’s super cheap.
Fold the bag up and keep it in the car so it’s ready to go on market days or junk travel.
what do you need:
- old jeans;
- Scissors;
- A broach you like and resist
- a tie
- pin;
- Needle and thread.
direction:
- Grab your old jeans, scissors, and you’ll start cutting the material. Make the cut about 1 inch below the pocket.
- Cut the crotch seam and sew the sides together so you can stitch the lower part of the bag further.
- Flip your jeans inside and pin the ends together. Sew all the way and turn the jeans over to the right side.
- Thread the tie through the belt loop as shown and secure with a broach.
