Wonderful DIY Reading/Weaving Arm Pillow

Do you like to stay in bed reading, watching TV, knitting sweaters, embroidering, surfing the Internet… Are you tired and sore back from sitting for a long time? This is a great craft for making a back pillow that supports your arms and maintains a more ergonomically correct posture while typing, knitting, embroidering, etc…

I love doing my work in bed and chatting with my friends online because it’s so warm living here. And my son loves to read in bed, I always worry about his eyesight, but his teacher said: You can read anywhere, as long as you are comfortable! I think this reading pillow is great for us, it’s very comfortable.

After looking at Sewhappygeek’s tutorial, I think it’s easy to make once you get the template and materials.

In order to make this reading/knitting pillow you will need:

For non-directional printed fabrics – 1 yard
For horizontal printing – 1.5 yards
For the arms – about 3/4 of a yard or piece of fat
Enough fabric to make a 6″x104″ strip
5 pounds of stuffing
