How to turn an old sweater into a cute pair of slippers? I have a lot of old sweaters and I’m going to be very busy this summer. 🙂 Follow the instructions below.
You will need:
– old sweaters;
– Scissors;
– Needle;
– yarn;
– pins;
– cardboard;
– pencil.
direction:
1. Draw the shape of your foot on the cardboard and cut out the pieces.
2. Place them on the body area of the sweater and cut the front bottom pieces.
3. Check the length of the boot by inserting the foot through the opening at the wrist into the sweater sleeve. Snip your feet. Take the soles and attach them to the legs using pins.
4. Start sewing from the top (where the toes are). Apply your own sewing technique or the technique shown in the image: First, thread the needle through both layers of fabric, then thread the yarn until only one small loop remains; after that, thread your needle through the loop , tension the yarn.
You can decorate it with fabric flowers or other and enjoy your slippers!View in gallery
